NECL recruits fresh graduate engineers mostly at the entry level. The recruitment takes place once a year. NECL has a two stage screening procedure.

Interview for 10 to 25 minutes to test the technical knowledge

Short listed candidate through interview, will be called for a two week duration, training-cum-personality check session. During these two weeks engineers are briefed about the company's philosophy, work culture and basics of civil construction / management. All engineers have to undergo a personality test and have to present a technical paper on any subject of their choice.

Career Growth

During initial years, engineering executives are rotated in various areas of activities to acquire an adequate, balanced knowledge on all company activities. Right executives are given specialised training to acquire advanced management skills.

Climb up in the managerial ladder is on a time reach for the first two steps (3 years in each step) and there after on performance.
